Terms of service

Last updated 17 September 2026. Using this site or placing an order means you accept what is below.

1. Who you are dealing with

Iqshant-Metrol, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Iqshant, at F-39, Block-F, Sector 6, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. GSTIN 09ABPFM4674A1Z1. Contact: aman@metrolmedia.com, +91 98110 00000. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Iqshant trading as Iqshant-Metrol; "you" means the person placing the order.

2. How an order is made

Adding a piece to your bag and sending an enquiry does not by itself create a contract. We confirm the order in writing — on email or WhatsApp — once we have checked the size against actual stock. The contract begins at that confirmation, or at the point your payment is received, whichever comes first.

We may decline an order if the piece has sold, if the address is outside our delivery network, or if we cannot verify the payment. If we decline after payment, you get a full refund within 7 working days.

3. Prices and tax

3a. Payment

We accept UPI, Credit and debit cards, Net banking and Wallets, processed through an RBI-authorised payment gateway. All transactions are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) only. The gateway handles the card or UPI details directly on its own secure page; we neither see nor store them.

Your bank or card statement will show the payment to Iqshant-Metrol. If a payment is debited but the order does not confirm, the amount is auto-reversed by your bank, normally within 5–7 working days. Send us the transaction reference and we will follow it up with the gateway on your behalf.

We do not store payment instruments, and we never ask for an OTP, CVV, PIN or password over phone, email or WhatsApp. Anyone doing so is not us.

4. What handloom means for what you receive

Most of our fabric is woven or printed by hand. Slubs in the yarn, small overlaps where one printing block meets the next, and slight variation in colour between one piece and another are characteristics of the process, not defects, and they are not grounds for return. Genuine faults — a broken seam, a hole, a stain — always are.

Colour on your screen will not match the fabric exactly. Ask us for a photograph in daylight before you buy if the exact shade matters.

5. Alterations

Length, waist and sleeve alterations on stitched pieces are free for 30 days from delivery, at the studio or by post. You pay postage to us; we pay it back. Once a piece has been altered it can no longer be returned, only re-altered.

6. Returns

Set out in full on the returns and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

7. Custom and made-to-measure

Pieces cut to your measurements cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a fault or we have cut to the wrong numbers. We ask for 50% in advance on custom work. Timelines quoted are working days and start from the day we receive both the measurements and the advance.

8. Using this website

9. Our liability

If we get something wrong, our responsibility is limited to the value of the order affected — repair, replacement or refund. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as an event you missed because a courier was late. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Events outside our control

Floods, strikes, transport shutdowns and similar events can delay dispatch. We will tell you as soon as we know and you may cancel anything not yet dispatched for a full refund.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall to the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Before that, please write to aman@metrolmedia.com — most things are settled in one phone call.
